- The name is Dorothy Gal. No need to state the obvious. Along with sharing a similar name to the girl in the ruby slippers, a unique person am I (or at least I like to think so). One day you will see me either in an opera house or possibly in a classical broadway show where I can sing my brains out. Actually, I can sing my brain out singular, not plural. I'm a soprano whose life is music. Music is not just a passion; it is a lifestyle. I devote nearly all my free time (and my friends can vouch for this) to performing/practicing. Along with singing opera and such, I also have been playing the piano for 10 years, which comes in handy monetarily and in aiding me to become an all-around good musician. Currently, I am also pursuing an interest in playing the organ. As you can tell, my witty sense of humor will dot every post on this blog because I am a strong believer in that laughter will make you beautiful. 'Tis true. Unless, of course, you get wrinkle lines from your face perpetually being crinkled in a laughing grin (however, that is highly unlikely). Sometimes I get off topic. But rest assured, I will take you on a wonderful journey through wistful and emotional posts.
